- Process transactions accurately and efficiently to ensure client satisfaction.
- Resolve and/or refer complaints to the relevant person/department – both from Pathologists, Nurses and Doctors on Wheels service providers and sales offices.
- Follow up on requests forwarded to service providers ensuring that appointments are made and kept.
- Update client information on a regular basis.
- Keep records updated daily with the feedback received from service providers.
- Link medical and other documentation to new business applications.
- Payments of medical examinations/accounts.
- Reconciliation of medical expense accounts (electronic & manual).
- Processing of documentation and letters.
- Open to be trained in other areas of the business.
- Ad-hoc tasks.
The environment necessitates overtime in peak periods. The amount of overtime hours depends on the business need in terms of the volumes received.
- Grade 12
- Mathematics and/or Accounting as subject will be an advantage.
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage.
Experience:
- At least 1 - 2 years’ relevant experience in the Life Insurance industry within the New Business division.
- At least 1-year experience in a target and production driven environment.
- Experience in complaints handling.
- Exposure to reconciliation of accounts as well as payment of service providers.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Life Assurance and/or Financial Services industry.
