Meet & Greet Representative

**PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A JUNIOR / ENTRY LEVEL POSITION AND PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO AN UNEMPLOYED TOURISM GRADUATE SEEKING WORKING EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE TOURISM INDUSTRY**

Pay: R1,00 per month

JOB SPECIFICATION:
- Ensure ILIOS Travel meet & greet services are carried out according to the company’s policies, procedures and quality standards
- Ensure ILIOS Travel procedures are always followed, as per the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures and Driver/Guide Manual
- Represent ILIOS Travel in a professional manner that is aimed at achieving customer satisfaction
- Conduct services and adhere to the waybill as stipulated and/or as per client requirements
- Ensure and confirm that all instructions for bookings and/or waybills are read and understood, to follow through with service accurately
- Meet guests at the airport and escort them to their ILIOS transfer, car hire, flight, hotel, shuttle and/or other relevant airport location
- Ensure concise knowledge of airport locations and amenities, as well as the surrounding areas
- Hand over and review documentation with clients as and where required
- Ensure clients check in at the correct hotel, car hire or shuttle service
- Check the boards and update the Operations team on delayed and/or early flights
- Check and advise Operations if the assigned field staff is not present in the arrivals terminal and assist with M&G where required and per instructions from Operations
- Provide immediate feedback to the Operations team with regards to client requests, deviations and/or challenges on the ground
- Adequate and effective communication with all ILIOS Travel departments, clients and other industry partners
- Participate and coordinate in dispatching bulk passenger/group movements at the airport or other location
- Ensure all service-related receipts are correctly uploaded on the Expense Tracker
- Request that clients rate the ILIOS Travel service/s using the QR Codes on the app
- Ensure the safekeeping and care for all ILIOS Travel issued resources and tools of the trade (such as uniforms, tablets etc.)
- Carry out any ad hoc duties as per operational requirements and instructions from Operations
- Uphold a high standard of customer service, maintaining professional and cordial liaison with clients
- Maintain positive relationships with ILIOS Travel industry partners and other staff / teams
- Ensure all client and partner special requests are adhered to, to meet quality and customer service objectives
- Participate in educationals, training, operational and briefing meetings as and when required
- Ensure the management of operational emergencies at the highest level
- Ensure immediate action to on the ground challenges, to ensure clients are pleased with ILIOS Travel's service delivery
- Ensure Operations are immediately updated in the event of a challenge and assist to ensure complete resolution
- MINIMUM: Matric (Gr 12) and CERTIFICATE IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT
- Superior levels of service delivery and focus on achieving customer satisfaction
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, fluency in speaking English
- People and time management skills, team player
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve challenges
- Ability to adapt to circumstances efficiently
- Attention to detail, effective crisis management and resolution
- Ability to provide constructive feedback regarding product development and improvement
- General knowledge of South Africa and current affairs (tourism orientated)
- Must be able to work according to the branch schedule / allocated services
- Own transport is required, due to early start and/or late finish, as per operational requirements
Pay: R1,00 per month
