What will you be doing?
Together with the Item Coding Team Lead, the Senior Item Coding Analyst is responsible for assisting Team leader in overseeing and executing the functions of the Circana Coding Production team. Coding production involves the coding of CPG items according to the Circana SA standards, maintenance of Fusion, carrying out audits and data checks and ensuring that feedback and progress on work is communicated to the relevant Circana teams and other stakeholders in an effective and efficient manner.

Job Responsibilities
Maintains Fusion CPG item coding and audits the data ensuring data integrity and quality
q Recodes new items and allocates products, brand, manufacturer and attributes as per the process
q Manages the coding of new CPG items which includes the allocation of item descriptions, brand, and manufacturer and item attributes as per the Circana SA standard.
q Ensures that coding standards are adhered to by Coding Production.
q Audits data and troubleshoots and corrects errors and inconsistencies as required
q Identifies issues, inconsistencies and errors and troubleshoots and resolves as applicable.
Development of new employees
q Ensure the adherence of the coding process
q Train and mentor new team members and involved in the induction training for RISE graduate program
q Conduct knowledge share sessions with affected coding stakeholders
Management of coding projects
q Works closely with the Item Coding Team leader in building project plans for large category audits by identifying training, resources and timelines required
q Assists the team leader on building a project plan and ensures required meetings and knowledge share sessions take place
q Provide regular feedback to all stakeholders on progress and difficulties encountered.
Planning
q Plans the resources, deadlines and workload for the Coding operations and allocates to team as required.
q Conducts weekly planning sessions with the team.
Troubleshoots data issues and handles coding related IRIS queries
q Receives communication with regards to issues or inconsistencies identified and investigates and resolves where possible
q Provide coding support role to Client Service teams and ensures that Sys Aid queries are handled.
q Assigns Retailer Commodies to Fusion categories as required.

Requirements
q Degree or Associate’s degree

q Strong attention-to-detail, while working in a fast-paced environment
q Leadership Skills
q 3+ years FMCG experience
q (Required) Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and Outlook
