Our client wishes to fill the above vacancy with a person who must take responsibility for the full marketing, technical & sales actions and activities of the company in an allocated region.
The company, originally an agrochemicals supplier, today serves the fruit industry of South Africa on a multi-disciplinary level and focuses on markets that require a higher degree of technical input and service levels. This has led to the company being regarded as a leader in certain fields like for instance monitoring of insect pests, mating disruption of certain insects, controlling weevils by banding of trees and post-harvest processes and treatment.
Technical Support and Marketing will be the successful candidate’s focus areas. In view thereof the main responsibilities will, among others, be:

• Promotion of services and products
• Attracting new potential clients through superior product knowledge and service delivery
• Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly within budget constraints
• Present ideas and final deliverables to senior leaders and communicate about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
• Establishing sound interpersonal relationships with clients and distributors
• Providing high quality training to agents and distributors on companies’ products and solutions
• Actively support and communication of technical product information to customers
• Responding to customer inquiries, issues related to product quality, product performance, and other elements related to managing product service expectations
• Maintaining and contributing to the improvement of the technical support and resources by ensuring system performance; identifying and resolving problems; preparing and implementing action plans and ensuring regular system audits for follow-up analysis and process improvement

Essential Requirements
Relevant agricultural qualification, preferably a B.Sc. Agric degree or equivalent qualification.

• At least 3 years of crop protection expertise and extensive field experience
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel regularly (locally and abroad)

Job Types: Full-time, Graduate
Pay: R30 000,00 - R50 000,00 per month
