Description:
Coupang Fulfillment Services seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chian Management Outbound Control Tower Director to lead our supply chain operations.
Control tower team is a central function & a nerve center responsible for driving all fulfillment centers (Core and Fresh) with a focus on key service performance metrics. It influences operations by proactively predicting demand, processing, and mitigating service risks daily as well as working with planning/design/ops teams to build avoidance/resilience. The team is a nodal POC for service RCA / problem solving/ reporting for fulfillment network.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, data-driven professional with a proven track record of optimizing supply chain processes to ensure efficient and timely product delivery to our customers. This role is in Seoul, Korea.
Director, Outbound Control Tower
Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Identify customer service risks using hourly demand/processing prediction methods and deploy levers to avoid or mitigate such risks to deliver best-in-class customer experience (speed and reliability).
• Monitor/ Improve upon comprehensive performance dashboard of lead indicators for FCs.
• Programs manage with cross functional stakeholders to solve major issues impacting customer service.
• Build/Improve upon flex levers to deliver service with changing scenarios.
• Autonomation of Control tower monitoring and mitigation lever execution through product ramp up.
• Deploy Predictive Analytics and Set Processes for effective management of CT operations.
• Shift work is required:
• Total of 4 days of work per week, 3 days on weekdays and 1 day on weekends.
• Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM for the day shift and from 2:30 PM to 1:30 AM for the night shift. A 10-hour workday includes 2 hours of program time in order to drive improvement ideas.
• Day and night shifts change on a monthly basis.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

• Proven experience (12+ years) in supply chain management, in fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing, production management, distribution management, business analysis or any similar area

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data analysis tools to drive decision-making.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and guiding high-performing teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
