EXTRACTOM is a plant extraction factory in Turkey, focused on producing high-quality bio-based products. We're looking for a talented Food Engineer with strong Quality Control experience to join our team.
Role Description
This is an on-site Food Engineer role at the EXTRACTOM factory in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the quality control and safety of the supercritical CO2 extraction process for food-related products.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to monitor and assess the quality of raw materials, intermediates, and final products.
- Monitor product quality, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and safety.
- Document and maintain records of quality control tests, safety protocols, and production performance.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for food safety and quality control.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering.
- Proven experience in food quality control (preferably in the food production or plant extraction sectors).
- Good command of Turkish, both written and spoken (English is a plus).
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Experience with industrial food production systems and quality assurance processes is an advantage.
