Data - pricing / trading data Marketplace – LSE and third party service providers presented to issuers Spark – Thought leadership content and events Spark Live – Company results presentations and livestreams
3,4,5 above are directly revenue generating. 1 and 2 provide insights and tools to the issuers that are valuable and drive adoption of the platform. Should the Refinitiv transaction successfully close, we anticipate that there will be an opportunity to share more valuable data with our issuers through the platform.
Spark Live
Through Spark Live (
https://www.lsegissuerservices.com/spark?channel=sparklive
) we give our issuers and pre-IPO companies the opportunity to livestream and host on demand their corporate presentations including capital markets days, results presentations, AGMs and roadshows in the public domain and also through a private link. We distribute the livestreams through Spark Live and also through londonstockexchange.com to capitalise on our distribution capabilities. We also anticipate that there will be the opportunity to maximise Refinitiv distribution through Workspace and other platforms.
We currently offer functionality through the platform such as Q&A, speaker bios, description, save the date, request a one-on-one meeting etc. We rely on third party technology providers to provide the livestreaming embed. Our USP is our trusted brand, our distribution capabilities and our functionality.
We launched Spark Live in 2020 and we have seen some good initial traction with clients.
