**Salary:** £43,014 - £46,314 per annum (dependent on experience)
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Deputy Ward Manager (RMN) to join our team in Preston. This role is essential for supporting the Ward Manager in delivering high-quality care to patients, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing and leadership experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Ward Manager in the overall management of the ward, ensuring compliance with CQC standards.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Develop, implement, and review care plans for patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Monitor the wellbeing of patients and assess their progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Participate in staff training, supervision, and performance appraisals.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in patient care and staff performance.
- Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and external stakeholders.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a mental health setting.
- Strong understanding of mental health legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
