• We are looking for a
• Procurement Assistant
• to join us in our mission and support the UK & Ireland Procurement team in driving cost reduction projects and enhancing supplier collaborations to the next level.

• You’ll have the opportunity to work in a strategic purchasing role, helping to shape our procurement strategy, supporting end-to-end tender processes, and managing supplier performance reviews.

• Supporting procurement projects across the UK & Ireland to improve the group’s overall EBITDA.

• Identifying opportunities for cost-saving initiatives or alternative sourcing options.

• Analysing spend data and suggesting ways to improve spend under management.

• Collaborating with the business to ensure procurement projects meet business needs.

• Supporting end-to-end tender processes through to contract management.

• Conducting supplier due diligence checks.

• Supporting supplier performance reviews.

• Assisting in maintaining procurement records - supplier contracts, price lists, and invoices.

• Providing administrative support to the Procurement team and managing the Commercial shared mailbox to resolve procurement-related queries.

• Relevant academic education in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).

• Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.

• Strong numeracy skills with the ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data (Excel and ideally Power BI).

• Previous experience with conducting financial health checks and understanding data (desirable but not essential).

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentation.

• Ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritise.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.

• Team-oriented and collaborative approach to achieving goals.

• Entrepreneurial mindset.

• Experience working in a global environment (preferable).
