The Extra Care Charitable Trust have a fantastic part time opportunity for a Volunteers Administrator to join an established, friendly team who collectively work to inspire and support volunteering throughout our Charitable Trust.

Role Details: -
  • Role: Volunteers Administrator - Part Time
  • Hours: 16 hours per week – Permanent Contract
  • Rate: £13.00 per hour (£10,816pa, pro rata of FTE)
  • Location: Head Office, Binley, Coventry CV3 2DN.

As the Volunteers Administrator you will be an essential part of supporting our volunteering service both for residents and external volunteers.
What will you do as our Volunteers Administrator?
  • Communicate key information and updates to the Volunteer Organisers, Activity Coordinators (in schemes) and the wider team.
  • Monitor the Volunteering email inbox daily and process queries.
  • Signpost potential volunteers to the online application form on the Extra Care Website and locations and shops when required.
  • Answer volunteering and active citizen queries from staff and signpost to the volunteering toolkit and supporting appendices and other guidance.
  • To support with the ordering of marketing material and other items, raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers and other teams if required.
  • Distribute recognition badges, thank you cards and marketing material etc. to locations.
  • Process volunteer expenses forms.
  • Check and process the post.
  • Support with customer portal enquiries and liaise with the Portal Owner. Assist with the continued development of Portal and share feedback from location staff.
  • Monitor the usage of the portal and undertake regular audits.
  • Arrange meetings and book meeting rooms where required.
  • Support the Charity Volunteer Lead with any letters or correspondences.
Our ideal Volunteers Administrator…
  • Have experience in the Volunteering sector.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and be people focused.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Attention to detail and accurate data input.
