We are offering a temp to hire opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the service industry, based in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving customer accounts, ensuring accurate documentation, and processing customer credit applications.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer accounts and take necessary actions to resolve any issues
• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of customer credit information
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Utilize software tools for documentation and record-keeping
• Handle collections-related tasks to ensure the organization's financial stability
• Employ your skills in Billing Collection and Commercial Collections to optimize the collections process
• Assist with other duties as needed to support the team and ensure smooth operations.
• Must have experience in Billing Collection.
• Experience in Commercial Collections is required.
• Proficiency in using collections software and tools.
• Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in difficult situations.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws related to debt collection.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle high volume of accounts and phone calls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
