Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we are currently looking for a passionate Electro-Chemical Engineer to join our R&D Li-ion cell team based in Xanthi, Greece. These roles are critical for the development of our Lithium cells portfolio as you will be responsible for the Li-ion cell product design and develop in the context of the IPCEI project (Important Project of Common European Interest). This is a role in a very demanding manufacturing environment which will open numerous career opportunities to advance further in the battery manufacturing industry, the fastest current growing industry in Europe. Candidate will have the chance to greatly impact the cell product design and development, from the initial concept to A and B samples production on the cell pilot line.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Define product KPIs and specification
- Design and develop Li-ion cells to pass customer qualifying
- Deliver robust design to manufacturing concept
- Support the Cell Process Team in defining Do E
- Support in technical discussion with raw material suppliers
- Prepare the BOMs (CAD & SAP)
- Collaborate with production engineers to ensure smooth production handover. Perform Assembly Steps in new product development
- 2+ years experience in product design & development
- 1+ project experience in mass production, role as the project leader is a plus
- Master or higher degree in chemistry or electro-chemical Engineering
- Electrochemical background is a plus
- Fluent in Greek and English, both writing and speaking
