Job Posting Details

The Division of Public Policy at the HKUST is seeking an Assistant Officer to support the administrative and logistical tasks for a service-based mental health project.

Major duties include the followings:
  • Preparing and editing documents, presentations and reports as required;
  • Coordinating logistics for meetings and events, such as venue selection, catering arrangement, technical set-up and participants registration;
  • Facilitating daily operations, such as arranging stationery procurement, processing reimbursement claims and handling purchase orders;
  • Providing administrative support to senior staff, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, submitting written enquiries and handling correspondence;
  • Providing social media engagement support, including designing social media posts;
  • Providing data management support, including data entry, database management, and the review and cross-checking of data.
  • Supporting financial record keeping for the project lead; and
  • Undertaking additional duties as assigned.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree. The appointee is expected to be detail-oriented with strong multitasking, organizational acumen and problem-solving skills; a communicator who can effectively liaise with various departments and stakeholders; disciplined and capable to meet stringent deadlines under pressure. (Duration: until 15 May 2025)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave and medical benefit will be provided where applicable.
