Officer / Assistant Officer (Fintech and Green Finance Projects)

Job Posting Details

The School of Business and Management is looking for a high-caliber individual to support the operations of the Fintech and Green Finance Projects Team. The appointee will be required to collaborate with the team to contribute to the management of its projects and the smooth running of its daily operation.

Duties include:
  • Organize the office and assist the team in ways that optimize procedures, e.g., monitor level of office supplies and handle shortages
  • Assist in bookkeeping, prepare budget-related requests and documents
  • Liaise with internal departments and coordinate with the team to ensure compliance with established policies and facilitate the smooth delivery of the team’s outputs
  • Assist in collecting and keeping organized records of outputs from the research projects, e.g., Save and organize media records related to the research projects
  • Assist in marketing activities, including preparing online and offline marketing and promotional materials and maintaining websites and social media pages
  • Create and update records, including the database of external contacts, ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Schedule and plan meetings and appointments, as well as produce documents such as agenda and minutes of meetings
  • Provide logistics support to events, meetings, and other activities
  • Handle general inquiries
  • Perform receptionist duties and other ad hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or related disciplines
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • A good command of MS Office (including Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • The ideal candidate should have an outgoing personality and a team-oriented mindset, be self-motivated and have a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Knowledge in social media marketing, event management, or accounting will be advantageous.
  • No experience needed, fresh graduates are welcome
  • Candidates with less experiences will be considered as Assistant Officer
Working outside normal office hours may be required. (Duration: 1 year, renewable, subject to performance and funding availability)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
