Technical Officer / Technician Supervisor-Infrastructure Maintenance Team (Signal & Telecom) (Ref: 240001KD)

Responsibilities

Lead a team of technical staff to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for railway signalling, radio, telecom and / or commercial communication systems to ensure train service reliability
Support the testing and commissioning, and provide immediate and effective responses to incident recovery
Conduct fault analysis / engineering studies, provide technical support and perform asset renewal, modification and improvement works for related systems
Support signalling and telecom asset management activities, modification works project control as well as contract supervision

Requirements

Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
A minimum of 8 years’ relevant railway experience, of which 3 years should be at supervisory level
Possession of Certificate in Railway Control Engineering Fundamentals awarded by the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) is preferred

Remarks

Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
Required to perform shift duties and work under adverse weather and emergency situations
