Your role
FMO is looking for a Business Analyst/ Technical Application manager to expand the Team. Someone with a lot of technical experience (like scripting and working with power automate flows) and knowledge of Office 365. Expect to become a key expert in the team when a technical Office 365 solution is requested. At the same time, finding a balance between taking up the challenge of creating the solution by yourself or pushing it to our 3rd line support and guarding the standards FMO has set. As part of the agile Team, you’ll ensure that FMO has the business processes and IT systems it needs to deliver financial services to entrepreneurs in developing countries.You’ll need to understand FMO’s products, processes, and organization and interact with colleagues in the business to identify and define the right solutions for their needs. That could involve anything from streamlining processes to exploring and implementing new technologies.
You are ambitious, passionate and have a drive for excellence. You take ownership and do not shy away from responsibility. You accept the challenge to dive into Power Shell scripts to figure out the complexity of what’s happening in the script to solve an issue. But also align with our Infrastructure counterparts to address security vulnerabilities within the settings of the Microsoft Admin centers.
Our offer
The salary range for this role is around € 75-85 K (full time, gross per year), depending on your experience.Besides that, we offer you a excellent package of other well-being benefits, amongst others:

Your team
FMO has almost completed the transition into cross-functional Agile teams. These teams are end-to-end responsible for certain Products, with the advantage of being self-steering teams within set boundaries. The Workplace Application Team is such an Agile team within the Shared Services Domain.The products for which the Workplace Application Team is responsible are:
Office 365 (Teams, Share Point, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), TOPdesk, Time Tell, Biz Talk, Orchestrator, Docu Sign, Correct Filling, Dynamics Customer Insights, and a list of other communication applications.
We are not limited to providing functional and technical support, but also support all solutions built on or used with these products. For example, we support solutions built with Power Apps and flows built with Power Automate. The team also provides training on how to use these products efficiently.
Our teams purpose: to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across FMO, we improve business-supporting applications and provide training and support to our colleagues in using these applications effectively.
Your background

You are excited to discover the abilities within Office 365 and use that to advise on its usage, including tools like Co Pilot, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Given the growing environment (approximately 8000 sites), manual maintenance is no longer effective, so you should be able to translate manual actions into solid, maintainable scripts.
In your education, you possess a Bachelor’s degree (HBO), having knowledge in one or more of the following areas and/or systems is an advantage: Office 365 administration certification or Share Point administrator certification.
You have at least five years of experience in Business analysis or a similar role:
- You are experienced in requirements engineering, translating business (preferably banking) issues into IT solutions taking several preconditions into account. Familiar with best practices (e.g. specification by example, user stories)
- You have experience in managing and maintaining Office 365 applications (Office 365 Admin centers, PNP Power Shell experience, SQL, and building Power Automate flows
- You have affinity with the technical part of application management and making choices to transform current solutions into Office 365 solutions using the Power platform (or choose not to in some cases)
- You have experience with Service Oriented Architecture concepts
- You have experience with PNP Power Shell, Graph API, CSOM scripting
- Familiarity with corporate banking processes, e.g., KYC, Treasury, Risk Management, Payment Processing, and Regulatory Reporting, would be an advantage. This would allow us to understand the needs of our internal clients and translate this into building adequate Office 365 solutions.
