Your job
As the Circular Centre Manager, you will oversee all operations of the Circular Centre in our 'state of the art' warehouse in Tilburg, ensuring the smooth functioning of repair, refit and recycling processes. Your role will be to manage a dedicated team, collaborate with various departments, and drive initiatives that extend the life cycle of Decathlon products. This is a key position in shaping Decathlon’s circular economy strategy while providing excellent service to our customers.
Responsibilities
As the Circular Centre Manager, you will oversee all operations of the Circular Centre in our 'state of the art' warehouse in Tilburg, ensuring the smooth functioning of repair, refit and recycling processes. Your role will be to manage a dedicated team, collaborate with various departments, and drive initiatives that extend the life cycle of Decathlon products. This is a key position in shaping Decathlon’s circular economy strategy while providing excellent service to our customers.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Circular Centre’s daily operations, including product repair, refurbishment, and recycling activities.

Ensure the quality, efficiency, and timeliness of services provided by the Circular Centre.

Train, motivate, and develop a team of technicians and support staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Collaborate with store leaders, supply chain teams, and external partners to streamline processes and increase product reuse and recycling rates.

Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement and achieve sustainability targets.

Promote circular economy practices within the centre and raise awareness among customers and employees about the benefits of product repair and reuse.

Manage budgets, resources, and logistics to ensure the cost-effective operation of the centre.

Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met in all Circular Centre activities.

A salary range of 50-65K yearly (based on 38-hours a week), a possible monthly bonus, 8% holiday pay and 24 wonderful holiday days.

What we expect from you

You have a passion for sports and you believe in a Circular Economy;

Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a production, logistics, or repair center environment.

Strong understanding of circular economy principles and passion for sustainability.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Ability to inspire and lead a team, driving engagement and performance.
-
Analytical mindset with experience in using data to make informed decisions.

Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbal. French is a big plus!
