Your job
As a Marketing & Communication Specialist you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering Decathlon’s marketing and communication for the stores within your region in the Netherlands. You are 'the spider in the web' in these marketing actions and will communicate and cooperate with many different teams in our local organisation. This position will focus on strengthening the brand’s presence and identity, identifying local opportunities and ensuring consistent and effective communication across all platforms. You will be part of a team of 2 other Marketing & Communication Specialists and together you will cover all 21 stores in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities

You are responsible for all marketing activities for the stores in your region in the Netherlands
Together with the Mar Com team you will translate the global / local communication strategy into local actions.
You will execute and guarantee operational implementation of this strategy
You will manage your activity and measure value creation
You will identify and develop local needs by using your network in- and outside Decathlon

What we expect from you

You have a passion for sports!
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Dutch & English)
Strong project management and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
