We are looking for
We’re looking for an Export Operator, who will be responsible for ensuring our smooth and efficient overland services to and from Europe. You will work closely with our European Distribution Partners, controlling their business to the UK and ensuring that Europa's business is operated in the most cost-effective manner and delivered to our customers' expectations. You will take responsibilities for the financial success of each individual trailer ensuring all customs, shipments and operational costs are accounted for and applied and that goods are efficiently cleared for exit.

What you will be doing as our Export Operator

• Contacting collection point to confirm cargo is ready, details are correct and confirm Export Customs Requirements ensuring we do as many clearances as possible in house.
• Arranging the collection with the European Distribution Partner (EDP)
• Collecting invoices from customers or customers own Export Declarations
• Preparing Export Declarations in Transport Management System (TMS)
• Ensuring the travelling manifest and customs documents are 100% accurate
• Manage any discrepancies from the receiving depot
• Communicate delays and operational issues with relevant stakeholders
• Be responsible for the financial success of each trailer recovering off all revenues and costs

• Previous experience European road freight/ transport
• Time management and communication skills
• Import or Export process & documentation knowledge
• The ability to prioritise and to pro-actively deal with situations and use initiative.
