Europa Worldwide Group are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as an Export Operator at our Rotterdam site
Who we are?
Europa Worldwide Group is an ambitious independent logistics operator with three divisions, Europa Road, Europa Air & Sea, and Europa Warehouse, and has been featured in The Sunday Times Top Track 250 for three years.
The group employs over 1,400 people with 17 sales offices in the UK, and the Republic of Ireland, plus European teams in France Belgium and the Netherlands and internationally in Cape Town Hong Kong, China, India and the UAE.
We are looking for
We’re looking for an Export Operator, who will be responsible for ensuring our smooth and efficient overland services to and from Europe. You will work closely with our European Distribution Partners, controlling their business to the UK and ensuring that Europa's business is operated in the most cost-effective manner and delivered to our customers' expectations. You will take responsibilities for the financial success of each individual trailer ensuring all customs, shipments and operational costs are accounted for and applied and that goods are efficiently cleared for exit.

- Contacting collection point to confirm cargo is ready, details are correct and confirm Export Customs Requirements ensuring we do as many clearances as possible in house.
- Arranging the collection with the European Distribution Partner (EDP)
- Collecting invoices from customers or customers own Export Declarations
- Preparing Export Declarations in Transport Management System (TMS)
- Ensuring the travelling manifest and customs documents are 100% accurate
- Manage any discrepancies from the receiving depot
- Communicate delays and operational issues with relevant stakeholders
- Be responsible for the financial success of each trailer recovering off all revenues and costs
- Strong, confident personality
- Previous experience European road freight/ transport
- Time management and communication skills
- Import or Export process & documentation knowledge
- The ability to prioritise and to pro-actively deal with situations and use initiative.
- A team player with an open honest and friendly approach
