We’re looking for an Office Manager to join Channel Engine! You’ll be joining the Office Management function, reporting to the Chief of Staff. This role offers varied responsibilities, from maintaining our Leiden office to working on projects and ideas that make our office an even for fun and organized place to work at.
What will you do as Office Manager?
As our Office Manager, you have one main task: make sure that everything in our offices runs smoothly so that your colleagues can focus on their work. Thus, you will be the first point of contact for our Leiden office colleagues and orchestrate a broad array of engaging social events, fostering a connected and inclusive company culture.
Next to that, Facility management will be a critical aspect of your role, involving the maintenance of a clutter-free, organized office environment. You will handle mail correspondence, manage relationships with our landlord, and organize and monitor our in-house emergency response (BHV).

You are a self-starter with initiative and a sense of responsibility,

You have experience in setting up and improving Facility, Office Management or hospitality processes,

You are excited by the prospect of shaping the office experience of fellow Channel Engineers with your ideas,

You work in a structured way and can manage various tasks and projects at the same time,

Fluent in English in speaking and writing,

Availability to work 24-32 hours per week - we are happy to align working hours based on your needs, e.g. if you would like to come to the office while your kids are at school or have certain longer and shorter days,

Currently resident in the Netherlands.
Nice to have (but not essential)

Advanced Dutch language skills.
