Procurement Intern at Nestlé, this is your challenge

At the Be Ne Lux Nestlé Procurement department – part of the Supply Chain Operations Netherlands division – we take care of the purchase of all raw materials, packaging and services necessary for our products and operations. As an intern you will be part of the Be Ne Lux Procurement team together with experienced colleagues. Procurement at Nestlé is highly international, so indirectly you are part of and work closely with the Global Procurement team. As of February 1st, 2025 we are looking for a new intern for our head office in Amstelveen. In this role, you are assigned various tasks for which you are responsible. As A Be Ne Lux Procurement intern you have the following responsibilities

Sustainable sourcing coordinator: monitor the roll-out of the sustainable sourcing audit program throughout key suppliers;
Support strategic buyer(s) in building supplier relationship management (SRM) structure with related activities;
Accelerate Procurement Performance by KPI controlling and compliance gap monitoring.

You are action and result driven. If you see opportunities, you like to take the initiative to act immediately. You are able to separate main and side issues and quickly acquire new knowledge. You quickly come up with new ideas and solutions. And you like to work in a structured way when preparing and performing work. You also know how to convey a message to others in different ways, depending on the target group and relationships.

HBO/WO/master student;
Excellent knowledge of the English language verbally and in writing;
Speaking Dutch and/or French is a plus;
A critical and open mindset who can challenge status quo and propose improvement ideas;
Affinity with sustainability, procurement and FMCG;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.

This vacancy offers more than just a challenge:

A full-time internship (40 hours a week) for 5-6 months;
10 vacation days (based on a 6-month internship);
An internship allowance of € 500 a month (based on a full-time workweek);
