Retail & Event Assistant

The French family company SISLEY produces and sells high-quality skin care, hair care, make-up and luxury perfumes. For three generations, the d'Ornano family has been involved in the creation of luxury cosmetic products and has developed from the parent company in Paris into a brand valued worldwide. SISLEY Netherlands is responsible for the Dutch-wide distribution of the exclusive French cosmetics brands Sisley and Hair Rituel by Sisley and is currently looking for a Retail & Event Assistant for our office in Amstelveen.
The Retail & Event Assistant will help to organize all efficient operations four our Maison Sisley Amsterdam and the preparation of events at our retailers/point of sales. This position entails following tasks :
Key responsibilities
Administrative:
  • Confirming orders for our Maison Sisley (opening March 2025) in SAP and ensuring the timely delivery of the orders;
  • Managing supplier relationships and payments;
  • Processing invoices and reconciling accounts;
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation;
  • Reporting sales for the management team;
  • Other administrative/office related tasks.
Event Management
  • Ensuring event materials and supplies are adequately prepared;
  • Providing support to event staff and managing logistics;
  • Report on the success of events/collaborations to the management team.
Qualifications and skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, preferably within the beauty industry;
  • Fulfill the daily, weekly and monthly goals given;
  • Fluent in Dutch required, English preferred;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Being hands-on is a must for this role;
  • Excellent communication and social skills;
  • Strong skillset in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel;
  • Knowledge of SAP (ordering software)
  • Being able to work well in a team also able to function independently.

Additional information:
  • Temporary contract with the option to extend;
  • Available for at least 32 hours a week;
  • Job based in our office in Amstelveen;
  • Residing in or near Amsterdam;
