Sisley Shop Manager

For our new Maison Sisley Amsterdam (estimated opening March 2025) we are searching as per January 1, 2025 for a Shop Manager.
The Shop Manager will coordinate the Maison Sisley team and ensure its proper functioning in the respect of the brand image and the values of Sisley. Run the daily activities to offer high quality services and retail excellence. Create excellent relations with clients and external partners to develop the activity of the Maison Sisley.
Main responsibilities:
People Manager
- Manage the Maison Sisley team daily: motivation, objectives, evaluations, etc.
- Build a team spirit and maintain retail excellence
- Prepare and ensure a good follow-up of the working hours of team according to the needs of the company
- Communicate sales objectives and results
- Develop the community network and local partnerships to increase the notoriety of the Maison Sisley, recruit new customers and generate turnover via special events
- Develop clientele recruitment, brand loyalty and events organization (partnerships, workshops, masterclasses, artistic events etc.)
- Manage a high cabin occupation rate, after treatment sales conversion rate and overall product sales
- Manage stocks of products and other promotional tools
- Manage the perfect execution of window displays to showcase launches and highlight Maison Sisley overall
- Coordinate the opening and closing of the Maison ensuring that the retail tools operate properly (cash register, screens), that the Maison is organized, attractive and clean at all times, including the re-stocking, the samples drawers, the storage and the inventory turnover
- Ensure the updates of client files, take care of customer database & have tailor made high end service approach to each consumer
- Summarize the activities of the Maison and its results monthly

Qualifications and skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail, preferably within the beauty industry
- Fluent in Dutch required, English preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills. Being hands-on is a must for this role
- Excellent communication and social skills
- Competitive salary, depending on knowledge level and experience
- 24 days of holiday (based on fulltime position)

- Temporary contract with the option to extend
- Available for at least 32 hours a week
- Job based in the centre of Amsterdam
- Residing in or near Amsterdam
