Head of Enteprise Payments

Mō te tūranga | About the Role

This role will have responsibility for shaping the future of Payments within WNZL and have an important role in the industry. Working with Product and Engineering the key focus of the role will see you delivering Payment's strategic roadmap that focuses on responded to industry change, improving customer experiences and commercial outcomes; and reducing payment risk.

As a senior leader you will determine WNZL's position on key payment related topics, and lead engagement with industry and regulatory partners to identify and influence activity that supports our payments proposition and vision. You will also maintain oversight of IBB complex customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities of the role:
  • Oversee, deliver and drive the strategic direction of Payments at WNZL
  • Provide directional guidance and WNZL’s position on key Payment related industry topics to industry and regulators.
  • Lead a team of high performing payment industry and delivery professionals to deliver customer and banker outcomes, as well as reducing risk across Payments.
  • Strategic partner to Product and Engineering to collectively deliver innovative payment solutions, enhance customer experience and manage operational risk.
  • Responsible for financial performance, vendor management and industry governance
  • Lead Payment related production incidents and remediation
  • Lead team delivering complex integrated banking solutions to IBB customers
  • Perform related duties as assigned, within the scope of role and as required by senior leadership

  • Significant payments industry experience
  • Deep understanding of the payments environment and landscape both locally and possibly globally
  • The ability to influence world class delivery of payment products across multi-million dollar programmes of work
  • Enterprise experience working in highly complex and regulated environments
  • Stong governance and risk management capability
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence at all levels within WNZL and the payments industry
