Mō te tūranga | About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Procurement, this is a people management role with a primary focus of building and driving the development and management of Tactical Procurement as a key buying channel for WNZL Procurement. This role will require working alongside your peers within the Sourcing function as well as wider procurement team members and stakeholders to ensure that WNZL has an efficient mechanism for transacting lower value, lower risk procurement initiatives.

The team will play a critical role in delivering the future state for WNZL procurement. As a Manager, the management and development components of this role are critical as the Sourcing Associates will be the future sourcing talent within WNZL.

Proven experience in managing and developing teams
Strong and visible leadership to establish authority and influence both internally and externally to the organisation
Category Management
Strategic Sourcing
Contract Management and negotiation
Good understanding of procurement processes, systems and tools
Third Party Management
