This opportunity sits in the Decision, Document and Advance squad under L&P tribe which aims to accelerate the financial progress for all New Zealanders, by supporting the engine of NZ's financial progress - New Zealand businesses.

About the role:
The Lend and Protect (L&P) Tribe is backing our frontline by building products to make banking simpler and easier for our people. We know we can do this by supporting and maintaining the core systems we use today, while building intuitive and effective solutions that will allow us to help our customers into the future.

n Cino is the lending platform we have chosen to use for our business and corporate customers which is cloud based. It manages the creation and life cycle of the loan process. n Cino is configured and built in Salesforce, bringing with it all of Salesforce functionalities and security features.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will apply your testing expertise to help the team in building, supporting, and maintaining our n Cino applications and contribute to the overall testing processes within the squad.

You'll be part of a team on the forefront of working to deliver and support a secure, functional and performant ecosystem to our customers. We advocate agile, fully cross functional squads which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. We are looking for a mix of technical and non- technical skills to support the following activities:

• Reviewing requirements and specifications.

• Building and supporting test automation.

• Verifying and validating functionality being developed.
• Analysing and reporting test results.
• Attention to details is key to identify issues within functionalities.
• Working with key stakeholders for testing end to end and obtain sign- off.
• Fostering proactive and continuous improvements within the test team and wider testing community.

About you:
We are looking for an individual that will champion the squad's quality goals. If you have an eye on detail and likes to see how things work, you will have a lot of fun with us. You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of test engineering and deliver products that delight our customers.
We are looking for someone who has:

• 5+ years of software test engineering experience.
• Proven knowledge across functional, system, integration and end to end testing.
• Produce/contribute/maintain test artefacts.
• Experience in developing, maintaining and executing test automation.
• Good understanding and experience of working using Agile principles.

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

• Experience on working with database /SQL queries.
• Financial/banking domain experience, especially lending.
• Certified in ISTQB Fundamentals.
• Background in Salesforce systems.
