Bake House is a leading provider of premium baking tools and ingredients in Pakistan. We cater to professional bakers, home chefs, and the baking industry by offering a wide range of high-quality products. As we expand our operations, we are looking for an experienced Accountant Officer to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
The Accountant Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial processes, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Manage daily accounting tasks such as invoicing, bank reconciliations, and expense management.
- Monitor and track company expenses, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and tax laws.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate salary disbursements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage vendor and customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role (2-4 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software Odoo ERP.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills in English and Urdu.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Pakistan.
