Operations Manager
Job Overview:
As an Operations Manager at Avotax, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting functions, including financial reporting, tax preparation for Canadian and US clients. You will lead a team of accountants, ensuring compliance with industry standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Proficiency in accounting software like Quick Books, Case Ware, and strong knowledge of financial regulations is essential. This role is perfect for a dynamic professional looking to take the next step in their accounting career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Ensure timely tax filing for Canadian and US clients (individuals & businesses).
- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to meet internal and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants.
- M.B.A Accounting & Finance, ACCA Qualified.
- Minimum 2 years in a managerial position.
- Expertise in accounting software like Quick Books, Case Ware, and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of Canadian and US tax regulations.
- BPO experience will be preferred.
- Market competitive salary ( 100k to 150k )
