Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Create and execute procurement plans aligned with company goals and budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure advantageous terms.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor relationships for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
- Track and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overstocking.
- Coordinate with internal teams to assess and forecast inventory needs.
- Reconcile inventory records regularly and manage the disposal or sale of obsolete stock.
- Collaborate with auditors to facilitate procurement audits and address any findings.
- Identify potential procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to management.
- Work with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet operational requirements.
- 5-10 years of experience in procurement or related fields, with effective communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable supplier terms.
- Proficient in data analysis and resolving procurement challenges strategically.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, ensuring accurate records and budget management.
- Experienced in supplier management and knowledgeable about procurement regulations.
- Highly organized and adaptable, capable of managing multiple tasks, including event coordination, in a dynamic environment.
