Job Summary: The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and achieve the hotel's sales goals. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other potential partners. The Sales Manager will also oversee sales activities, monitor market trends, and provide leadership to the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve the hotel's revenue targets and occupancy goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and manage the annual sales budget and forecast.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, travel agencies, and industry partners.
  • Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts with potential clients.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve any issues related to sales and bookings.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Sales & Marketing Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, events) to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
Reporting & Analysis:
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies based on data-driven insights.
Event & Conference Sales:
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for hosting events, conferences, and group bookings.
  • Develop tailored proposals and packages for potential event organizers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales management role within the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the Philippine hospitality market and local business practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales management software (e.g., CRM systems).
  • Fluency in English and Filipino is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
