The position is for 37 hours per week.

Person specification
Essential. The essential specific professional skills, knowledge or qualifications for the post are as follows:
- Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Post Compulsory Education and Training (PCET)
-
Evidence of practitioner level competence from one or more Specialist Instructional Officer (SIO) competences (SI1, SI2, SI3 or SI4)
or -
Evidence of professional formation of the minimum core competences for entry to the Burnham Lecturer (BL) occupational group
or - Evidence of formation of Defence Trainer, Defence Trainer Supervisor or Defence Workplace Trainer competence.

The post does not offer relocation expenses.
External recruits who join the MOD who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a six-month probation period.

Candidates that are successfully sifted will be invited for interview.
This will be followed by questions that will expand on the written application.
Target date for interviews planned for early December 2024.
