We are recruiting for a Director/Executive Director to join an established bank in Hong Kong as a Sector Coverage banker for the Financial Sponsors / Institutional Investors sector.

We are recruiting for a Director/Executive Director to join an established bank in Hong Kong as a Sector Coverage banker for the Financial Sponsors / Institutional Investors sector.

Role Responsibilities

Reporting into the Regional Head of Sector Coverage, you will be responsible for origination of business opportunities in the Financial Sponsors and FI Sector across Asia-Pacific region and drive revenue growth via cross-sell of various Financial Solution products such as transaction banking, financing solutions, global markets, M&A, DCM and ECM
Expand the bank's client base by actively cultivating new relationship with wide range of Financial Sponsor and FIG clients in Hong Kong, Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
Lead the strategic discussion with various FIG clients and establish solid relationship with their senior managements.
Collaborate with various departments working together along with Relationship Managers in each country across Asia.
Responsible for the regional FIG strategy and spearhead business opportunities for corporate banking, transaction banking and investment banking.
Conduct sector analysis of FIG segments and identify business opportunities from prospective clients through in-depth understanding of key clients and industries.
Manage credit portfolio with diligent risk assessment and appropriate monitoring in collaboration with credit departments and branch RMs.
Build robust relationship with FIG clients to establish an eco-system of originate-to-distribute through partnering with several stakeholders.

Role Requirements

15 years in experience in Client Coverage of Top-Tier Financial Sponsors sector in Hong Kong or Singapore.
Strong knowledge of financial services solutions utilized by Financial Sponsors and FI clients
Excellent relationship management and people engagement skills
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills (spoken and written), self-motivated and able to multi-task to manage timelines.
Masters degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent in the similar field.
A strong team player spirit, and a passion to develop and expand business including client base.
