The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel, which is part of Marriott International, has the position of an Assistant Financial Controller available!

Your responsibilities
As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will be reporting to the Director of Finance and are leading and inspiring the Finance team of the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel. You are responsible for all fundamental finance requirements such as: office management, bank reconciliations, preparation of State and Federal reports, training of Finance Ambassadors, conducting or participating in meetings, analysis of balance sheet accounts, preparation of journal entries, closing the books and preparing the balance and sheet package.

To be eligible for this position:

Bachelor degree in business administration or accountant.
High level of integrity.
Proven strong leadership skills.
Communicate professionally in English.
High sense of responsibility.
Eligible to work in the Netherlands.

We are excited that the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is currently undergoing a full transformation. A major investment has been made in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant and rooftop bar & terrace. The hotel will expand from 402 to 500 rooms and an additional conference center will be constructed. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a very high focus on sustainability and will aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
