About the position
Our Flora Food Group mission is to make people healthier and happier with nutritious and delicious, natural, plant-based food that is good for you and for our planet, with a free from plastic focus. To make this mission a success, we are strengthening our consumer insight expertise to ensure our innovations truly meet consumer needs. Joining our Consumer Technical Insight (CTI) team, you will be working across our core product categories: plant butter & plant spreads, plant creams, plant cheese and serving our markets across all continents. This is a one-year contract position to cover maternity leave.
You will:
- Execute sensory and consumer tests for our product development projects.
- Ensure seamless execution, being the spider in the web to connect internal and external colleagues and partners.

On a daily base, you will:
- Brief external agencies and report data and draw conclusions - in line with the quality standards
- Characterize market products and prototypes on sensory and consumer preference aspects
- Focus on generating and providing the consumer insights with respect to product performance in spreading, baking, and cooking applications, and provide concrete recommendations to our product development teams.
You have expertise and experience in a similar role in Consumer Technical Insights in the food business, ideally combined with experience of sensory assessments. You have a passion for food, and what drives consumer choices and trends. You are digital savvy, with affinity and experience with statistical analysis of consumer data. You have a very structured mindset, with highly logical reasoning, and you can interpret complex sets of data with rigor and diligence. You are a strong communicator and a strong team player who can work closely with many different audiences. You are very reactive, and you strive in a fast-changing environment with can do attitude. You use consumer data as a tool to deliver fast and efficient innovation for our plant-based future.
