What will you do?


At Bizzdesign the Financial Controller report directly to the Financial Director and plays a critical role in ensuring an organization’s financial integrity and regulatory compliance. The responsibilities encompass a range of tasks focused on establishing and maintaining robust financial controls and processes.


Key duties include overseeing statutory audits and preparing accurate, timely statutory reports to comply with regulatory standards. Managing the essential accounting structure and policies, enforcing standardization focused on scalability within the rapid changing environment in Bizzdesign.


Your main responsibilities :

• Overseeing and coordinating Group accounting policies, which includes:
  • Segregation of duties
  • Internal control
  • Banking policy
  • Intercompany transactions
  • Consolidation
• Overseeing and coordinating statutory compliance
  • Statutory reports
  • Statutory filings
  • Statutory audits
• Overseeing and coordinating Tax control framework, which includes:
  • Local and Global Transfer Pricing policies
  • Overseeing the preparation and submission of corporation tax filings, ensuring adherence to tax regulations.
• Overseeing and coordinating cash optimalization, which includes:
  • Exchange rate hedging
  Cash pooling
  

What are we looking for?

• You have at least 5+ years of experience in a Financial Controller role, ideally with audit exposure in an international setting.
• You have a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• You have knowledge of internal control frameworks and audit procedures.
• You have strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and auditing practices.
• You have comprehensive understanding of financial accounting principles in DUTCH GAAP (IFRS is a pré).
• You are up-to-date in understanding financial and tax regulations and implications for financial reporting.
• You have experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• You have experience in creating a scalable financial environment.
• You have experience with harmonizing and implementing financial policies across multiple organizations.
• You have the ability to assess financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
• You have strong prioritization skills for managing workload in a fast-paced environment.
You’re not afraid with” hands on” when needed.
