What will you do as Head of ******* Everything?
The spider in the web, the wind beneath our wings, the ying to our yang...you get the drift, right? At Big Ass Battery we are growing fast and that growth comes with a lack of processes, growing pains and a little bit of "chaos". The devil is in the details (and wears Prada) but we mean the first thing. Your superpower is that you can swoop in and catch all the balls our colleagues drop (not intentionally)! But what does that mean? You will be able to wear the following "hats":
Chief First Impressions: You are the face of our company, your smile can melt even the coldest of hearts. You make every visitor feel instantly at home. No awkward silences here—just warm welcomes and friendly vibes.
Connection Magician: Master the art of communication! You'll handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and messages with the finesse of a seasoned magician, ensuring they magically reach the right colleague on time.
Agenda Guru: You will optimize the office calendar with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker. Meetings will be scheduled seamlessly, and even the most chaotic day will flow smoothly under your watchful eye.
Digital Prince(ss): Your royal duty includes managing administrative tasks like filing, copying, and document handling with the elegance of a court scribe, the more digital the better. The remaining paperwork doesn't stand a chance against your filing abilities.
Supply Superstar: Never let our office run out of essentials! From coffee to pens, nuts to beer for Friday happy hours. You ensure we're always well-stocked and ready for anything.
Event Management Maestra (o): Co-organize legendary Friday happy hours and other BAB events that will be talked about for years to come. Your events will be the stuff of legends.
Future Fortune Teller: You ensure that our new employees have a place to work and no last minute "internal moving sessions" have to be organized ever again.
Queen or King of Onboarding: Welcome new employees with open arms and ensure they flow into our bad ass team. You'll be their guide and friend as they settle in.
IT Support Sidekick: Ensure that the needed IT hardware is ready in time. Tech hiccups? No problem—you've got this and you have a short line with our external IT Manager.
IT Financial Sidekick: Work with our internal Financial Controllers and help them with invoicing and other administrative duties.

It won't surprise you, but we're looking for people with positive energy! You're very proactive, curious, and enjoy organizing "chaos." and get sh*t done. You are not afraid to step into the unknown and you will do so with your head up high. You have a good sense of humor and adept at handling any situation. Additionally, you have a high sense of integrity, and can handle confidential information discreetly. You can interact with different types of people, from the mail(wo)man to esteemed visitors, always treating everyone positively and with good vibes. - A degree or not
- A few years of experience in a similar role
- An eye for detail and a knack to solve problems with a smile
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (or the willingness to learn the latter)
- Handiness with a Mac computer and you know how to work with Office 365
- The willingness to work at least 3 days (24 hours) per week (more is preferred)

- Looking at the experience you will bring a salary (based on 38 hours) between €2600 and €3600 gross per month. On top of that we offer a 13th month!
- We follow the collective labor agreement (CAO) for "Technisch Installatiebedrijf"
- Annually you receive 25 vacation days and 13 ATV days (based on a 40-hours work week), enough time to recharge your personal battery
- Reimbursement of travel expenses at €0,23 per kilometer
- The tools you need (Mac and phone via the landline) to do your job

We build energy storage systems at the highest level: from battery cell to complete 10ft battery containers. Big Ass Battery is a Dutch company and we are located in Helmond. We didn't fit in our previous office anymore so that is why we traded up in november 2023 to our new facility of 15.000 m2 and a total surface of 41.775 m2!
