Your role

As the Manager of Financial Risk Management, you will lead a team of 11 professionals, ensuring alignment between the organization’s vision and departmental goals.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the department's strategy and yearly business plan.
• Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with the front office to improve the risk-return ratio for existing and new products.

You will report directly to the Director of Risk, and you will also be responsible for:

• Implement effective financial risk management practices that meet regulatory standards and support the organization’s strategy.
• Lead the FRM team by setting ambitious yet feasible goals for their professional and personal development.
• Foster collaboration across teams while maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders.

• Gross yearly salary ranging from EUR 125K-150K (including 8% holiday allowance and 13th month), depending on your seniority, years of relevant experience, and background.

Your team

The Financial Risk Management team consists of 11 dedicated professionals from diverse international backgrounds. Our mission is to support and protect the organization, ensuring long-term financial stability while enabling innovative business initiatives. The team is responsible for various risk areas, including:

• Credit and Concentration Risk
• Interest rate risk
• Climate risk
• Currency risk
• Capital and liquidity adequacy

Each team member manages multiple risk areas, allowing for continuous development and adaptation to new needs.

Your background

The ideal candidate will have:

• A master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or Econometrics is ideal, especially with certifications like CFA or FRM.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial risk management.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience in an internationally focused banking institution.
• Demonstrated experience in managing regulatory compliance, financial risk reporting and risk models, regulatory change implementation and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.
