Microsoft IT Application Consultant
As an Microsoft IT Application Consultant, you will be the linking pin between the Product Owners, Solution Architects and one or more diverse and distributed IT development teams.
You will be the technical conscience and owner of a set of applications and will be responsible for facilitating the technical implementation of changes in our global Compliance landscape (Anti Money Laundering, Customer Due Diligence, Counter Terrorism Financing, Sanctions Management, Anti-Fraud, Privacy Management, Integrity Management) on application level.
This global Compliance landscape includes multiple applications using Microsoft technology including Azure cloud and on-prem .Net applications next to other technologies.

Day to day:

• Support Product Owners in gathering business and functional requirements
• Drive IT requirements, security, compliance, and other non-functional requirements – considering architecture landscape and target state
• Translate high level solution visions into detailed functional and technical application designs
• Be a sparring partner for business users, external & internal service providers and the development teams you are supporting
• Facilitate technical QA of new developments to make sure quality standards are met
• Be involved in System Test, check whether built solution fulfills acceptance criteria from a technical perspective
• Organize test activities/ events and follow-up on findings, following DLL policy regarding testing
• Ensure that deliveries by the team are supported with proper documentation
• Connect/interact with Solution Architects on big and or complex changes, and provide support on solutioning

Essentials:

• University Level Education (MSc)
• Extensive knowledge and experience of Microsoft Azure products and certificates, experience with custom build applications using Microsoft technology, integrations and Saa S applications
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in designing and architecting IT solutions in an international enterprise level environment
• Background in business analysis, solution design, software development, data management and information modelling in an architected environment
• Experience in working in Agile/SAFe/scrum environment
• Understands/knows relevant business processes or is able to learn them quickly
• Has the ability to capture non-functional requirements and can explain these requirements and their high level impact on applications to developers (via User stories and functional/technical design)
• Has a can-do mentality, (no 9-5 mentality)
• Good communicator in speech and writing in English
• Customer Oriented and Stakeholder Management Skills (networker) with focus on Delivery
