Your role

Our Agency Desk is looking for a new Senior Facility Agent. In this role, you will employ your expertise in financial products, banking, and communication. You will also acquire further experience with syndicated loans and agency services.

As Senior Facility Agent you will:

• Directly communicate with Borrowers at CEO, CFO level, Participants and Lenders regarding all administrative aspects of the facility agreement.
• Coordinate the loan utilization process between the Borrower and the Lenders/Participants.
• Coordinate the waiver and amendment process between the Borrower and the Lenders/Participants.
• Monitor the (information) undertakings which are due from the Borrower and distribute the received reporting to Lenders and Participants.
• Work closely and proactively with sector departments and other departments such as Mid Office, Syndications- and the Legal department as well.

Our offer

We offer a gross yearly salary of between EUR 60-80k per year (including 8% holiday allowance), depending on your background and experience. Besides that: a combination of working at the office and from home (50-50%), 60 days working remotely abroad in a rolling period of 12 months (if you wish), premium free pension and 31 holidays.

You will be working within the Syndications team which is part of the Partnerships for Impact Department. The Syndications team oversees a) arranging Syndicated Loans, b) Unfunded Risk Programs and c) the Agency desk.
The Agency Desk is our dedicated facility agency team. As the Facility Agent, FMO manages both Participants' and Lenders' interests in syndicated deals. The Agency Desk ensures professional services for Participants and Lenders. It handles information accurately and responds to requests from Borrowers and Lenders promptly and carefully. Currently, the team consists of five Agents.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) in finance, economics, legal or accounting.
• Preferably you have at least 8+ years of banking experience.
• You must have knowledge and experience in the Facility Agent role for syndicated loan facilities.
• You are familiar with Loan Agreements (English Law and New York Law) adhering to LMA guidelines.
• You value contributing to a good team atmosphere.
• You see what needs to happen and picks up these tasks by your own initiative.
• Fluent in English in writing and verbally
• Excellent communication skills and able to convince people in a constructive manner.
