Your Responsibilities

As a team leader at DHL e Commerce in Eindhoven, you will provide daily operational leadership at the location where many packages are sorted at a high pace. You will closely monitor progress, spending a lot of time on the work floor. Additionally, you will maintain contact with our national transport planners to ensure that all shipments depart on time with the correct routes. We continuously optimize the sorting process to increase sorting capacity, and you will contribute to this. In everything you do, you keep the end goal in mind: a satisfied customer.

You will also ensure that:

The team is briefed so that everyone knows what needs to be done.
Packages and pallets move smoothly through the process and are delivered to customers according to standards.
Coordination of transport and the logistics process is completed correctly through good coordination and cooperation.

Working Hours

As a logistics team leader, you will work in a 2-shift system from Monday to Friday.

08:00 / 10:00 - 17:00 / 19:00

23:00 - 08:00

Your New workplace

We are located at Achtseweg Noord 20 in Eindhoven. Here we work with our Region Hub Manager Dennis, 12 supervisors, 14 team leaders, 150 operators, and over 100 drivers. Together, we are responsible for the process of packages that are eventually delivered to homes.

About You

A results-oriented and driven individual who always keeps the goal in mind: that the customer receives their shipment on time. With a good sense of humor, you set the right priorities and look for process improvements. You are also willing to work irregular shifts (alternating day, evening, and night shifts).

Additionally, you have the following:

You are customer-oriented both internally and externally, thanks to your strong communication skills and adaptability;
You are physically fit and have a strong sense of responsibility;
Good verbal and written proficiency in English;
At least 2 years of leadership experience in teams of at least 20 people in a logistics/transport environment;
MBO 4 work and thinking level;
You are proficient in working with different systems;
You have a Residential address in the Netherlands.

What We Offer

Gross Salary: Between € 2726.00 and € 3669.00 per month based on a 40-hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience;
Shift Allowance: Depending on the shift schedule, you will receive a shift allowance between 12.5% and 30%;
Vacation Days: You are entitled to 23 vacation days per year based on a 40-hour workweek;
Holiday Pay: 8% of your gross annual salary is paid as holiday allowance;
Flexible Budget: You can use this for extra salary or additional vacation days;
Travel Allowance: You will receive € 0.23 per kilometer for up to 30 kilometers one way;
Certified Onboarding Program: A certified onboarding program will be provided to prepare you for your role;
Training and Education Opportunities: You will have the opportunity to further develop yourself through training and education;
