Position Overview:

The Treasury/Settlement Manager will be responsible for managing the treasury operations of YAP Pakistan, ensuring effective cash management, liquidity planning, and settlement processing for all digital banking transactions. This role requires close coordination with internal teams and external partners to ensure that all transactions are settled accurately and on time, minimizing risks associated with liquidity and operational flows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Ensure smooth processing of settlement for all digital banking transactions, including customer deposits, withdrawals, and interbank transfers.
• Implement best practices in treasury management to optimize cash utilization and minimize liquidity risks.
• Develop strategies to enhance the efficiency of settlement processes and reduce operational risk.
• Coordinate with financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and service providers to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Analyze market trends, interest rates, and other factors that affect the company's treasury operations.
• Prepare reports on treasury performance and settlement operations for senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury and settlement operations, preferably within the banking or fintech industry.
• Strong understanding of liquidity management, financial reconciliation, and settlement processes.
• Experience with digital payment platforms and payment gateways is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
