Canadian Tax Accountant
Makati City

Work Setup & Schedule:
- Hybrid (Mon-Fri, 4am to 1pm)
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and file Canadian tax returns, including T1s, T2s, T4s, T5s, and GST/HST returns.
- Review and analyze financial statements and documents for tax return preparation.
- Administrative Support: Draft and manage email communications with clients
- Assist in preparing and sending engagement letters and invoices.
- Organize and maintain electronic files and records.
- Bookkeeping: Perform bookkeeping tasks using Quick Books Online (QBO)
- Reconcile bank statements
- Marketing Support (Not mandatory, but would be a plus): Assist with marketing efforts, including social media management and content creation.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- 3-5 years of experience with general accounting and tax preparation (preferably Canadian tax).
- Strong knowledge of T1s/T2125s (Individual & Sole proprietor returns), T2s (Corporate Tax returns) and GST/HST (Sales tax) returns.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Experience with Quick Books Online (QBO) and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Excel and Spreadsheets
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Experience with marketing and social media management is a plus.
