Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation Associate shall be responsible for the disbursement of dealer and sales agent payments.
- The associate likewise handles management of client’s mode of payments as well as monitoring and reconciliation of payments until the maturity of the contract.
- Preparation of report for triangular balancing
a. Reconciliation of amount for disbursement
b. Endorsement of discrepancy to concerned person-in-charge
c. Report monitoring on paid and unpaid dealer proceeds/incentives
- Electronic Banking Payment (dealer and salesman)
a. Timely uploading of payment for credit to dealer’s account
b. Ensures bank cut off is met at all times to avoid delay of payment releases to dealers
- Validation of documents for accreditation of:
a. Dealer
b. Salesman
- Encoding of payment schedules for ADA, PDC, and m TW
a. Ensures timely and accurate encoding of mode of payment details after contract activation
b. Advises person-in-charge if there is discrepancy (technical/erroneous) in the submitted PDC for proper disposition
d. Reconciliation of encoded PDCs against PDC Summary report
e. Ensures EWT schedule is encoded upon receipt of the form
- Payment collection management
a. Preparation of the list of maturing payments for deposit/transact
b. Posting of cleared or successful payments
c. Reversal of rejected or unfunded payments
d. Cancellation of remaining payment schedule if account is pre-terminated
e. Computation of outstanding balance, pre-termination, and amount to update
- Preparation of official receipt for cleared/successful payment.
a. Timely preparation of official receipt
b. Ensures details of payments are correct
- Reconciliation and review of Subsidiary Ledger
a. Analysis and adjustment of account as necessary
- Closed account validation
a. Review of fully paid accounts
b. Provide clearance as required
c. Sign off on the Certificate of Full Payment
- Validation of excess payment or refund
a. Review of excess payment if valid for refund
b. Prepares necessary documents to facilitate the refund process
- Closed accounts validation
a. Review of fully paid accounts
b. Provide clearance to release related document
c. Sign-off on the Certificate of Full Payment
- Validation and sign-off of certifications
a. Certificate of Outstanding Balance
b. Certificate of Interest
c. Repayment schedule
- User Acceptance Testing
a. Participate in the testing of new system, process, and product
- Attends to internal and external inquiries related to assigned tasks.
- Performs other job-related function as assigned from time to time.
- Participates in Kaizen related activities.
- Attends seminars and training programs related to the job.
Requirements:
- Holds a degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Business Management, or any related course.
- Have knowledge & experience with the Accounting Standards, Reconciliation, Verification, and Loan & Financial Reporting.
- Must have an experience working in the Banking Industry
- Possess strong written and oral English communication skills.
- Must be keen to details.
- Proficient in using MS Office applications, especially Excel.
