SENIOR RESTAURANT MANAGER - Durbanville North

Pro Staff Select are in search of a SENIOR RESTAURANT MANAGER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operational Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Customer Experience: Ensure high standards of service, guests feedback and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Financial Management: Implement and manage cost control measures
- Team Building: Recruit, train and manage a team of dedicated staff, foster a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. licenses requirements, and company policies
- Proven experience as a Senior Restaurant or Assistant Manager within a similar high end fine dining role
- Expert knowledge of wines, hot & cold beverages AND excellent skill in presenting & serving signature wines
- Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in POS and MS software with excellent admin and computer proficiency
- Flexibility working irregular hours, including small functions and weekends
- Young and outgoing personality with exceptional people skills
- Proficient in up selling signature dishes and tasting menus and excellent knowledge of fine dining cuisines
- Proven success in managing and controlling wine and beverage stocks
- A hands-on operator that leads by example and who's passionate about this industry
