DLL is looking for a Devops Engineer within Private Cloud Platform Team (Automation Services)
As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will drive change across a multi-technology landscape and disrupt conventional ways of thinking. You will be responsible not only for creating Dev Ops processes, but also for instilling a Dev Ops culture in the Private Cloud team. You will be the person who designs and implements Dev Ops tools, automated workflows and procedures that will improve DLL’s IT development and operations.
You are passionate for Automation and Innovation. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, technically competent scripting with an ability to partner with other groups within the Private Cloud department to support innovation and automation initiatives end to end of Infrastructure services. Technical knowledge of infrastructure services is expected. The Private Cloud Platform Services department works as a number of self-organizing teams. Each team is responsible for delivering a specific service for customers.

Private Cloud Technologies (VMWare products, Windows Server, SQL Services, Ansible Automation Platform, Service Now, Azure Dev Ops)

Day to day:

• Collaborates with DLL’s global team to develop and improve methods and processes for supporting the user community’s technology needs.
• Has knowledge of, and experience with scripting, automation and improving automated Infrastructure services.
• Develop a Dev Ops culture within Infrastructure Team
• Troubleshooting automated workflows and coding.
• Design and build automated solutions for the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of on-premise and/or cloud-based systems
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to improve development processes and business value delivery.
• Mentor colleagues to create a Dev Ops and “Shift Left” mind-set.
• Drive and support automation and innovation initiatives.

Essentials:

• Strong Windows Server expertise
• 3+ years strong hands-on Dev Ops experience within Infrastructure Private Cloud
• Troubleshooting skills related to automated workflows and coding.
• Technical knowledge about Infrastructure Services
• Azure Devops pipelines (CI/CD)
• Passion for coding (Powershell / Python)
• Service Now experience
• Can do mentality
• Fluent in English.
• Strong analytical skills
• Ownership skills. Understands new technologies.

Extras:

• Ability to use DLL’s existing tools and processes, execute accordingly and provide recommendations for service maturity.
• Multi-Cloud mindset
