DLL is looking for a Service Delivery Engineer/Dev Ops Engineer Infrastructure (Linux). Do you also think that "Automation" of Private Cloud Platform Services is a must to deliver the best Customer experience nowadays?
As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will drive change across a multi-technology landscape and disrupt conventional ways of thinking. You will be responsible not only for creating processes, but also for instilling a Dev Ops culture in the Infrastructure team. You will be the person who designs and implements Dev Ops tools and procedures that will improve DLL’s IT development and operations.
As a Windows Devops engineer, you will also be responsible for troubleshooting Windows based systems and applications. You are passionate for Automation and Innovation. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, technically competent scripting with an ability to partner with other groups within the Infrastructure department to support innovation and automation initiatives. General knowledge of infrastructure management tools is expected The Privat Cloud Platform Services department works as a number of self-organizing teams. Each team is responsible for delivering a specific service for customers.

• Microsoft (Server) technologies
• Containerization platforms
• Scripting and Infrastructure as Code
• Workflow Automation (Azure Dev Ops pipelines, Ansible Automation Platform, Service Now)

Day to day:

• Collaborates with DLL’s global team to develop and improve methods and processes for supporting the user community’s technology needs.
• Experience with scripting, pipelines, Ansible (Automation Platform), Infrastructure and Automation.
• Support our Application teams with their (modernization) challenges.
• Continuous improvements to mature our Security posture related to our Linux Services
• Design and build automated solutions for the deployment, monitoring, logging and maintenance of private cloud systems
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to improve development processes and business value delivery.
• Drive and support automation and innovation initiatives.

Essentials:

• 3+ years hands-on experience in Dev Ops build & release management of Infrastructure components
• Demonstrated implementation of Dev Ops concepts (Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, etc.)
• Strong experience in Windows Services and Automation Platform(must)
• Strong Windows expertise/ background and related Microsoft products(must)
• Fluent in English.
• Strong analytical skills
• Customer Service oriented and focus on delivery
• Ownership skills. Understands new technologies.
• Strong experience with Service Now

Extras:

• Ability to use DLL’s existing tools and processes, execute accordingly and provide recommendations for service maturity.
• Multi-Cloud mindset
• Familiar with Git, Azure Dev Ops pipelines, containerization.
