Lotus Cars Europe B.V. is responsible for the Marketing, Sales and After Sales of the Lotus Cars products in the European region. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Procurement Manager in the Purchasing Department to join us in our European HQ based in Amsterdam.

Summary:
As Procurement Manager you will lead the Sourcing team responsible for the sourcing strategy, supplier selection, negotiation and contract execution for the European Region.
You will implement procurement standards and processes and make sure that we buy the best quality at a fair rate.

What you'll do:

• Day to day management and steering of the Purchasing department and processes.
• Manage procurement operations efficiently ensuring compliance.
• Establish contracts and address challenges in implementing procurement guidelines.
• Provide spend, savings & value contribution reporting, actual vs target monthly.
• Collaborate with other departments for seamless purchasing processes.
• Organize RFQs and bidding processes, negotiating terms with suppliers.
• Manage risk assessment and negotiate pricing to reduce costs and enhance savings.
• Utilize Lotus's bespoke procurement system for daily purchasing tasks.
• Ensure supplier adherence to LOTUS General Purchasing Terms & Conditions.

What you'll bring:

• At least 5 years of experience managing purchasing department in complex environment such as automotive, ideally in premium brand.
• Bachelor degree and additional purchasing/commercial education or certification.
• Vast experience in negotiations and setting up contracts with external suppliers.
• Experienced in RFQ processes, bidding management and supplier relationship management.
• Experience with ERP system (preferably SAP).
• High level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English. Additional European languages are an advantage.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office package and Docu Sign system.
