Job Summary:
The QA Officer in the Health & Safety Department is responsible for monitoring and ensuring that all food products and processes meet established safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role involves inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, as well as maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and company policies. The QC Officer plays a crucial role in identifying and addressing any potential food safety risks, ensuring that products are safe for consumption.
Responsibilities:
· Daily inspection of fruits & vegetable vehicle & material dispatch as per site requirement.
· Visit sites on food & vegetable complaint.
· Prepare & share reports of food & vegetable inspection with snaps to concerned department.
· Train & assure vendors to follow quality & size requirement of food safety.
· Maintain operations & market survey to recommend alternative batch or areas product.
· Document and report test results, identifying any deviations from standards.
· Ensure that all products and processes comply with relevant food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
· Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and any corrective actions taken.
· Assist in the preparation and maintenance of food safety documentation, including HACCP plans, SOPs, and quality manuals.
· Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities in the production process.
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food safety and quality processes.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new quality control procedures and standards.
Skills:
· Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills
· Strong knowledge of food safety fruits & vegetable regulations and industry standards.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
· Strong communication and documentation skills.
· Knowledge of HACCP principles (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)

Qualification
· Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Agri culture, Agri Sciences or business or a related field.
· HACCP certification, Food Safety Manager certification, or equivalent is preferred.
Experience
· 2-4 years of experience in food quality control, food safety, or a related role
