Anchor - Duty Manager - Luxury Safari Lodge KNP

Position Overview:
My Client - A prestigious luxury safari lodge is seeking a dedicated and experienced Anchor / Duty Manager. This role involves providing personalized, professional concierge and reception services while hosting guests with exceptional care and attention. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations, high service standards, and contribute to the lodge’s mission of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Guest Relations: Maintain high levels of personalized guest service, creating a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere.
Team Management: Lead, train, and develop lodge staff, upholding superior service standards.
Operational Oversight: Manage housekeeping, maintenance, and gardening to ensure pristine conditions throughout the lodge.
Financial Management: Oversee orders, stock control, and administration to maintain effective operations.
Communication: Coordinate with departmental teams to meet guest needs and ensure seamless service.
Data Management: Maintain and manage the guest database, ensuring accuracy and service excellence.
Conservation Efforts: Support and communicate the lodge's conservation message and initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required:

Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a five-star hotel or world-class lodge setting.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage services, including dietary and allergy awareness.
Financial management skills and computer literacy.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Understanding of basic labor law, disciplinary procedures, and housekeeping operations.
High attention to detail, with a cooperative and hardworking approach.
Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in South Africa.
